Oxford and CMW are both excellent choices. A few years back I found some very good models of 1950s cars under the Model Power name. I haven't seen them recently so I don't know if they are still available. Woodland Scenics cars are generic and not intended to be models of specific prototype cars. They use styling that is similar to real cars from a particular era.
