Good Morning, Folks! It´s been a terrible night! Petra has developed issues with her gall bladder, which kept her awake all night. I went to the pharmacy in the middle of the night to get something helping her, but that had no effect. Now she´s off to see the doc about it. I am really worried. Petra has never been seriously ill. I just hope it isn´t what it could be. Taking of moving when retiring - I guess most people feel the urge to change the place of residence whenb entering this phase of their lives. My parents moved about as far away from the family as one could possible do in this country. They moved all the way to the southernmost tip when their only grandchild lived all the way up north. Needless to say the did not get to see him much - a 10 hours drive is just too much to do either for a family with a two-year old or for an elderly couple. I wish we could move. We don´t like the place we have to live in, we don´t like the town we have to live in and we don´t like the country we have to live in. Our son is about 2 hrs. away from us, but we don´t see him much more than three times a year. Petra´s relations live about 4 hours away, but we haven´t seen them since 2013. Family does not really ties us to the place we live, so we could move to any place, if we had the funds to do that and the means to sustain our lives. Guess we are stuck here, but as this place is really pulling us down, it´s only a question of a few years until the final move.
