A little over 12 hours to go until the 2016 will be replaced by 2017! I can´t say it has been a good year, nor a pirelli or micheline [;)]! Seriously, 2016 has been the worst year for us and for the country we live in and there is only very little hope that  it won´t get worse next year, let alone improve. For the first time in many years, I have even come up with some New Year´s resolutions. Not the usual ones, like giving up smoking (I have done that successfully some time ago), or drinking, exercising more and eat less and the stuff like that. My resolutions are <ul> <li>not to lose faith</li> <li>not to lose the remnants of my rather sick sense of humor</li> <li>attempt to stay afloat as much as possible in trying times</li> <li>feed the piggy bank labeled "The Great Escape" as much as possible, even if I have to sacrifice my beloved hobby, so Petra and I will one day have the option to get out and live the life we so dearly miss - a sedentary life in peace, love and friendship.</li> </ul> A Happy New Year and blessings to you all for the year ahead of us!
