Recently bought a mint in box Rivarossi 4-6-4 huson Santa Fe Blue Goose at an estate sale. Wanted to make sure it ran before I sold it. In the effort to try and get it to run I broke on of the linkage arms on the left valve gear. Looking for a source for the part.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Been there and done that. Finding a donor engine is probably your best bet. Our LHS has a lot of spare parts - I often go to there to get stuff. It does not need to be exactly the same to fit.

I second Simon's suggestion to find a donor engine. But to find a really inexpensive one might be a challenge. You can increase your chances by looking for a Rivarossi NYC Hudson, as Rivarossi's Blue Goose is not a true model of the Santa Fe locomotive, but just a NYC Hudson painted in Santa Fe colors.
In general, your Blue Goose will hit the market at the worst time. With BLI's announcement of a brass hybrid Blue Goose later this year, the market is flooded with the older brass model by PFM and even the not-so-old (1993) Tenshodo model.

The Rivarossi ATSF Blue Goose used their NYC J3a chassis.
Any used/damaged Rivarossi/AHM NYC hudson should work as a parts engine, just find one on ebay that's cheap. That includes Ed's engine.
Although it appears that rivarossi prices these days are ridiculously high...it might not be worthwhile paying for parts to fix your blue goose if youre intent was to sell it off for a profit anyways.

I have a 1980s Rivarossi Blue Goose that I plan to sell on ebay if I ever get around to it. I don't know if the OP wants to pay the going price just to get spare parts. Except for an occasional test run, it has sat idle for about 30 years. It needs some cleaning up but still runs well.
Asking prices for this loco run as high as $350 but that's not realistic. Checking the SOLD listings on ebay indicate the going range for this loco is in the $120-180 range. Mine doesn't have the original box so I'm guessing if I were to sell it the selling price would be near the lower end of that range. I see one currently listed with one bid for $120.
