Half an hour ago, a truck drove into a group of people attending the traditional Christmas market near the Memorial Church on Kurfürstendamm in Berlin, killing 9 and severely injuring over 50 people. The death toll is expecting to increase throughout the night. This was not an accident, but the cowardly act of a terrorist who came to seek shelter and refuge in our country. My prayers go out to those who were killed or injured, and to their relatives.
