Hi Karl. I thought the MR review was pretty straight forward and honest, not pulling any punches. But it didn't leave me with a bad impression of the loco or Lionel's efforts. MRN also did a very recent review of the loco, which was also well done. It too left me wih a favorable overall impression. I own one of them (the #61) and agree witht both reviewers assesments. I think it's a fine locomotive and would recommend it myself. I was even hoping Lionel will continue in their getting into the HO market, based on the results of their efforts with the turbine.
