Me again! The postman rang twice and brought an early birthday present for me. Before Petra seized it and put it away until my birthday in August, I was able to take a sneak preview and a couple of photos of it: <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/E%2041%201_zps75sx6gsz.jpg" alt=" " /> <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/E%2041%204_zpsycwvujwh.jpg" alt=" " /> It´s an old Marklin class 141 (before 1968 E 41) boxcab electric for light passenger trains. The model was first released in the early 1950´s and only the lettering has changed. The model itself is about 20 years old and in mint condition - for a price unbelievably low, because it´s a foobie! This type of loco wore the blue livery until the early 1960s, when it was changed into green. The change in the numbering scheme from class E 41 into class 141, took place in 1968, long after the locos lost their blue livery. Heck, I don´t care - it´s a great model for an incredibly low price ( $ 12 plus shipping) and a great birhday gift. If only tomorrow would be August ...
