....that I'm not ignoring your PMs, but my "Conversations" feature has not been working for some time.  I can read your messages, but I cannot answer them.

For anybody else with this same issue, please feel free to add your name (and suitable comments) to this thread, so that those who are attempting to contact us for a more personal response, will know that we're not avoiding or ignoring them.

Let's hope that this issue is addressed when this Forum gets an update.

It is really hit and miss for me, I feel like I am being quite rude at times especially when I go to messages and there are ones there that have been there for weeks but I just got them.

I haven’t been able to reply for maybe a couple of years.  It’s a Firefox thing.  I have to switch over to Chrome and I’ve never got the hang of Chrome.  I’ve been a Mozilla freak since I first started using the Internet.

I sent a PM to Autonerd (Aaron) back on Jan, 21.

Hopefully he will see this and reply.

Thanks, Ed

I appear to be fully functional with Microsoft Edge as my browser.

I use Firefox, but found that I can still read and reply to Messages if I use Safari on my Mac. It's kind of distrtacting to try to remember to check back and forth, so you'll need to be patient if you do PM me.

I totally lost the ability to send or receive PMs back in mid-December. And, my PM history is now blank, so I cannot even read older PMs that I have sent or received.

Kalmbach Customer Service is useless. I have repeatedly emailed them to no avail. Even Steven Otte has remained silent in the face of public pleas.

Whatever.

The PM notification hasn't worked for me for years.  I expect it's the norm with this glitchy forum software.

The message notification hasn't worked in a long time, but messenger still works fine, I can get and reply to messages.

Not sure if whom I'm replying to is getting my message back, but so far, they have.

I use Chrome with Windows 7, ( Yea, I know, it's not supported anymore).

I also use Chrome on my laptop, and no problems.

I am able to receive and send on my iMac.  But sounds like there are fewer and fewer who can send me anything!  Go figure.

I can't even access into my own account and/or features to see everybody else neither.

What I do get when I click on the image or feature, it reads.

Server Error in '/' Application   Runtime Error with description.

I have seen this screen for about 3 years. Even my (new) phone (last year) can't pass this page. It's not like I want change my avatar or signature. It's a little disappointing nonetheless.

Like Rich - I can cannont see any of my PMs.  I used be able to write/respond to PMs using MS Edge after a Firefox update (V67.0) took that ability away.  However, ever since December my PM page is completely blank - even though "Messages" is highlighted in red.  And repeated emails to Kalmbach Customer Service have been fruitless in resolving the matter. I also use the new Microsoft Edge, and I have no issues.  I like it better than Chrome, Firefox, and the old Edge.  I can send and receive messages.

Every two days or so, I clean out all the cache files (history, passwords, etc.).

Amazing that certain browers work better even here.

I use a PC loaded with Windows10.  I use Edge as my browser.  Whatever the issue was, I was unable to send anyone a reply or to compose/initiate a PM all of last year. When my cursor was placed over the 'post' or 'send' button, the entire page would scroll down and place the cursor higher.  It was consistent and persistent.  I could do nothing.  Now, suddenly, in January, it works.  I can see my messages if I go to look.

Is that the old "Edge" or the new one based on the same platform as Chrome?

It's not the browser that is at fault. It is the forum software. Plain and simple.
