Someone´s burning midnight oill here!

Z scale has turned into some fascinating stuff! Once I have completed my narrow gauge layout, I will sell it and should I still have the chance of doing some MRRing, I will most likely build some sort of a briefcase layout in that scale. This will end all space issues!

Look at this beauty:

It´s a Marklin model of a Royal Bavarian State Railway class Gt 2x4/4 Mallet (in Deutsche Reichsbahn guise). The loco was employed in helper service pushing up heavy freight trains on some of the steep grades in Bavaria. They were retired in 1948 after only 35 years of service. None of them survived.

The model is about 3" long!
