Good Afternoon! February says good bye to us with a nice and sunny day, but still fairly cold. I like it that way - the air is crisp and clear, much better than the wet & windy weather we usually have at the end of February. Hard to believe that this month is almost gone! I did only a few small things on the layout, like ballasting the little path along the tracks and planting some more trees. Not to forget finishing the river in the upper right corner of the layout, so both water features are now completed! The trees do make a big difference to the looks of the layout, although they are the el-cheapo bottle brush kind. There are much nicer trees available, but I don´t have the kind of $$$ necessary to buy them. It´s a layout on a bufget - and a tight one! <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1100400_zpssoyemxjo.jpg" alt=" " /> <img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1100399_zpsr8lew5ps.jpg" alt=" " /> I am also not happy with the blueish color of those trees, but that I will change! No trains will be run until everything is nice and dry and the excess stuff has been vacuumed off! John - keeping our fingers crossed for a succesful opp and a speedy recovery!
