I think the C&NW's paint schemes have always looked good - I like the way they kept basically the same colour scheme from their E-units right to the end (on their Dash 9s), and to my mind it suited pretty much every loco it was applied to. I have 3 locos and a set of bilevel cars in this scheme. <br /> <br />I also think the CB&Q's passenger scheme as used on their E5s and later locos was superb. I would very much like to see these locos RTR in HO at a sensible price - Walthers make matching passenger cars but there are no locos to haul them (at least, I've not seen any except BLI, and those are out of my price range). <br /> <br />I also think the EMD Demo paint schemes have always looked good - I guess they had to help sell the locos, but they managed to come up with a series of schemes that suited the loco in question and were also unmistakably EMD.
