Good Morning, Folks! I took the liberty of moving the Diner to the new location for the month - just down the track a little from where it had been in January. It´s just incredible how fast January passed by - it seems to ghave been much faster than in past years! The good side of it is that we have gained about 1 1/2 hrs. of daylight since Christmas [Y] I spent a nice afternoon at my new train friend´s place. He helped me doing the repairs on my broken down loco (the one in my avatar, which had developed gearbox problems). It was a much bigger job than both of us had anticipated, but after 3 hrs. of blood, sweat and tears plus a number of choice words I am not allowed to post here, we got it up and running again. It now purrs like a kitten, compared to the howling noise of a jet plane taking of it made when I got it. Sven (that´s my train friend´s name) is 20 years younger than I am and his eyes are better than mine and his hands less shaky. He is building a huge layout, which would cover all of our apartment - some 800 sqft.! Too big for my taste! Well, I am off to run the morning ttrain now! Have a great one!
