I discovered a while ago if in my personal profile I choose not to see fancy time wasting signatures at the bottom of messages that the discussions are faster loading. Way too much time-wasting ego stuff here - large photos, animation, etc.! And I have high speed DSL, so I imagine those with dial ups have it worse!
