Just want to say this is one of the most active forums I have ever been involved with. And everyone is great and helpful. It's nice to be able to ask a question without being blasted.

Thanks
Beetle

Great to know Beetle!

From time to time there have been "flame ups" but for the most part there's a good group of hobbyists on this forum with a wide variety of talents. Even with the variety of views (sometimes opposing) expressed here, one can still derive a positive feeling of "solidarity" and belonging. This, IMHO, is especially valueble to our younger members who may sometimes feel awkward in being the only model railroader in his or her circle of friends.

As I've said so many times before, in my teen years (late 70s-early 80s) it was so much more difficult to obtain info or trouble shooting help in this hobby unless you took frequent trips to your LHS and thumbed through magazines or talked to other customers.
Add to that, modelers that were not members of a club could feel isolated at times when it would be a long while before they could visit their hobby shop.

Glad that you're here!

Cheers and High Greens to you![:)][:D][C):-)][4:-)][tup]

This is a great place and any opportunity to thank all those that contribute is appreciated.
