I have three of them. I bought all three on ebay which, with this loco, is gutsy. One worked pretty good. The other two were so bad I sent them back to Bachmann and they replaced them. Of the two replacements, only one was really good. The other was not a good runner. So...I certainly agree with the axiom that unless you're into fixing wheel gauge problems, wheel quartering, rod straightening, you should certainly try one out before you buy it. And, if you can, run it through a turnout not just a straight piece of track. Two cents.....Tom <br />
