Good Morning!

I woke up to a rather gray day. Summer seems to have disappeared and there is already a smell of Fall in the air. I do hope Summer returns, but, please, not as hot as we had at the beginning of this month.

Ken - take car, buddy! I hope you´ll be feeling better today!

Let me take you to Germany´s southernmost museum railroad today. It´s a short branchline, which was turned into a museum line 30 years ago.

The museum train is pulled by a Prussian class T 3 0-6-0, once the standard engine of many a branchline throughout Germany. First built in 1882, it soon proved to be a successful design, ordered not only by the Royal Prussian State Railway, but also by many a private line.. Out of the over 1,300 locos built, only 14 survived, out of which only 3 are in operating condition.

Enjoy!
