Good Morning!

From what I see when looking out of the window, I won´t be able to by the lumber for the benchwork today. The roads are still iced up and there is no reason to risk anything if I don´t have to.

Isn´t that a nice excuse for me? I am having second thoughts on my layout plans - again! It´s just because I have fallen in love with that little layout designed for up831. If I could sell the Minitrix track I already have and get a good price for my locos and cars ...

up831 - share your thoughts on scenery with us. I am sure I´ll be able to close that new backdoor of yours [:-^]

Rob - Marklin locos won´t run on anything else than Marklin track, as they are 3-rail AC. Marklin also has its own, proprietary digital command system, which is not compatible with DCC. If you like this Bavarian Mallet tank loco, look for the Trix version of it. Trix is Marklin´s 2-rail DC brand.

The locos were mainly used as pusher engines on steep grades in Bavaria. All of them were scrapped by the late 1940´s.

Have a great day!
