Management does not believe your subscription to MR entitles you to a seat on the Board of Directors of Kalmbach Publishing or to speculate publicly on their website about their business practices and finances. Not unreasonable in my opinion, but that belief is not held by everyone.

Seemed like quite an over-reaction to an innocent sounding question. After having your thoughts and opinions published and sent to tens of thousands of people every month, I think its fair to say you should expect to sacrifice some privacy rights when folks enquire aboiut your current whereabouts.

I don't think Henry is speaking on behalf of anyone, but just simply referring to the former MR chief editor Neil B, who departed a few months back, ahead of his planned retirement, and as Henry said is retiring to Mexico.
