Los Angeles River Railroads
Posted by Colorado Ray on Monday, October 23, 2017 11:08 PM

Does anyone know what has happened with Bruce Petty's Los Angeles River Railroads site?  lariverrailroads.com

I'm getting a message that the server can't be found.  Hoping it's just a temporary glitch.  Bruce's site was an invaluable aid in researching the SP in LA.

My LA River Railroads website was taken down Yahoo who was the server.  They even took my $130.00 and canceled me.  They are now owned by some other outfit in Hong Hong.  At this time I don't plan to put up the 140 web pages again.  However if you need some information on LA Railroading, feel free to ask questions, I will be glad to help.

Thanks for replying Bruce.  I've sent you a PM.

I guess the lesson from this is that nothing is forever. I think I'll start clutterring my hard drive with "web page complete" saves for my favorite sites.

Why don't you put your website on trainweb.org? It's free and I have been using it for several years.
