Thanks very much, everyone, that helps a lot. I wonder if any of the first generation road switchers would make really good switching engines, like my HO scale Kato Alco RS-2. That engine is smoother than Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. <br /> <br />Many Thanks; <br />smyers
