Well, I don't know if I'll get anything for myself for Christmas. I'm hoping that my parents will get me a few locomotives, or one of the HO scale models I asked for. Otherwise, I always get Git Certificates to the LHS every Christmas, so I guess I'll be spending those there the day after Christmas![:D]

By parents bought me a P2K ATSF S1 (I wanted SP, but trainworld was out) and a P2K UP FA1/FB1. My mom let me have the S1 early, but I'll have to wait for the FA1/FB1.

As for buying train stuff for myself, The Great American Train Show is coming to nearby Sacramento on Jan. 8-9, so I'm going to save up some money for that. I'm not sure what I'll get, though. I already have more locomotives than I need (I have/will have 7, and my layout is only 5'x9'), although if I can find either a nice steam locomotive, or a large, modern, six-axle diesel at a good price, I might get that. Mostly, though, I will be looking for rolling stock and Walthers #5 turnouts (I need three).
huh?

I don't know about you all, but I generally don't know what am getting for Christmas. I might have some money left over to spend on some decoders, but probably a good chunk of the money I have left over will go towards some rocketry stuff.

Well, I'm saving up for the Train show in february around here, and I'll probably pick up my Christmas gift to myself then. Or I may paint myself a Wisconsin Southern GP38 just after christmas.

Mine will come probably late Jan. or into Feb. It is a BLI NW-2 switcher in GN livery. I am in 1947/48 Great Northern and have been waiting for this yard switcher for at least 4 months. While I have been doing some road switching with my Stewart FT- ABBA set it doesn't do my yard classifying. Neither do my pair of E-7's off the Empire Builder.

My parents are getting me a couple of Atlas O cars(including a 36' woodside reefer), and hopefully some other train related items.

I've found a postwar ZW that I can get for $100+trade-in on my KW, so I may buy that.

well my mom bought me a P2K GP60 EMD Demo off ebay, and i bought myself a P2K GP60 UP locomotive. i'll probably get myself some kits this weekend if i go to the hobby shop. i get paid on wednesday and i still need to go Christmas shopping so i'll do all that this weekend. then i have to make my first cell phone payment of $117.

i plan on buying either a SD45, GP38-2, or SD60M in UP colors if this guy has those locomotives in stock at all.

I'm [banghead]NOT[banghead] getting myself the new Atlas GP-38 in Maine Central livery[banghead], because my LHS tried(to no avail, I might add...[D)]) to order it 3 [D)]times[D)].......in [D)]N [D)]Scale. not HO [soapbox]Scale[soapbox],so needless to say, we missed the guaranteed order date[:(!](which was back in JULY!!! an now there are NONE AVAILABLE[soapbox]!!!) I got my holiday season present early. My "A" class and that fat J1 which can barley take the curves on my layout.
