Obtaining HO trains in Bolivia

A hobbyist in Bolivia is asking if there are any online stores that ship to Bolivia where he can buy HO train equipment. Anyone?

I would think MB Klein and Walthers would.  They can also purchase items on eBay.  Just be sure the seller offers international shipping; some don't.

I purchased a Con-Cor Aerotrain a few months back from a seller in Australia.  It actually came quite quickly - IIRC, 5 days. Surprise

George's Trains in Markham, Ontario (just outside Toronto) ships internationally, as do many other Canadian shops.

When the new Caboose gets started up in Denver, I suspect it will also offer international shipping. The old Caboose Hobbies was well-known for such service to model RRers around the world, especially narrowgaugers. Since Caboose, while separate as a business from its predecessor, seems to have assumed the intangible assets like the old store's customer base, check when they do open soon to see whether or not this will still be one of the new store's strong points.

There are many US sellers on ebay that don't offer international service for one reason or another. Many do, as do I, simply because it's an international hobby and what we need may often be found elsewhere. My very first ebay purchase was a small brass GE SP #1 HOn3 diesel that I looked all over the US for. Found one in Australia and it arrived quickly and just as described. Just be sure to check the shipping options before bidding.
