Las Vegas hobby shops
Posted by softail86mark on Wednesday, December 7, 2016 4:45 AM

I have a trip to Vegas planned for early January to see Penn & Teller. I'll have only about half a day to myself. Can someone recommend one or two shops or attractions to visit in such a limited time, please?

The rest of the time will be taken up with the wishes of the three other participants of this shindig.

Thanks much, folks.

Hobby Shops are slim pickens in Las Vegas now.  I moved here 20 years ago and watched them dwindle away.  A casulty of the internet.

One shop that's geared solely for trains is Westside Trains, located at 2960 S. Durango, Suite 117.  Their website is: thetrainengineer.com  Another option is Hobby Town USA, located at 4590 W. Sahara, Suite 103.  Hobby Town is a larger store because is covers all hobbies.

Enjoy your visit to Las Vegas, and remember... once you are all packed and ready to leave, remove half the clothes from your luggage and double your money!

Thank you John,

Those two will be plenty as my time will be limited. I'll try to save my pennies for the trip. I'm not much of a gambler, we're just taking the Penn & Teller show in as a b'day pesent for the other guy in our party.
