<p>Johnboy - I have resent the PM as a reply to your previous PM. For whatever reason, sending you a new PM did not work. The address has not changed, though.</p> <p>YGW - N scale is too small for my ailing eyes and hands. I built an N scale layout following Japanese prototype only a few years ago. I still have it, but is all packed up and stored in the attic. For my final layout before retiring as a model railroader, I´d like to have a layout representing the atmosphere which I was able to experience in 1974, when I had the chance to take a ride from Durango to Silverton. That trip made me buy the D&RGW T-12. I´d rather have a K-27 or K-28, but I could not afford the brass models available in those days. I wish I could afford one of those beautiful Blackstone models today - big [sigh]</p> <p> Keith - I share your fear. I´ve just gone through that experience with my attempt of a On30 layout. The pictures I posted don´t show all the mistakes I made...</p> <p> </p>
