Hello All,
I just got back into the hobby last Jan so this will be my first time going throught the black friday/Cyber monday timeframe as a modeler. Are there any companies or online stores I should definietly log on to look at this week? I really like getting a good deal on things when i can and i dont want to miss a sale because i didnt know about it.
Thanks

Spartan,
Welcome back to the hobby. You will probably find that the online hobby shops prices are discounted all the time, so there aren't a lot of "Black Friday" sales.
However, Walthers is running a 10% off sale, Trainworld has some specials, Model Train Stuff usually has some promotion going. If youre an N scaler, Fifer Hobby is also an option.
there are probably others out there, but most of us who buy online deal with a select group of shops that we trust and normally deal with.
I am sure others can point you to online shops they trust.

https://www.walthers.com Black Friday sale is 10% off of your order.
The Warehouse Sale at Walthers is up to 70% off items on this list:

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
I've subscribed to most of the hobby suppliers and manufacturers for email announcements on new products, issues, etc. Many will have them. My inbox has received quite a few. It may be worth it to set up an additional email ccount just for your hobby so you don't get inundated with them, especially this time of the year. That's what I've done..

IIRC, ExactRail has done some Black Friday deals in the past. I haven't seen any announced yet for this year but they still may in the next couple days.

I don't know if you are into building your own turnouts, but Fast Tracks is having 25% off all their fixtures Friday only.
Anyone heard of Pacific Western Rail System? (PWRS)

Yes. Several of our club members deal with them. They're kind of like a subscription service; they'll get hold of you on a regular basis and say 'hey, we got this for sale, interested?' I have no problem with them, but haven't partaken myself.
Anyway, MB Klein is advertising a 5% sitewide Black Friday sale. Worth checking out.
