<p>I have moved my layouts a number of times in my 50+ years as a model railroader. All of them were designed to be moved, so I was never forced to take them down.</p> <p>I have learned to remove all structures from the layout before the move is done, packing them separately and carefully and move them myself, instead of having the movers toss them around!</p>
