Walthers SW-1 drive

Is the sw-1 drive suitable for use as a basis for other EMD switchers or is the wheel base unique to thw sw-1? Thank you

The truck centers are 22', which is pretty typical of the rest of EMD's switchers.  There ARE exceptions, like the NW3.  And the MP15's.
