Title says it all but would also like to know how to remove the trucks.
I've done this a bunch of times. It can be a bit of a pain, but once you get the trick down, it's not so bad.
The trick is that the dogbone drive shafts are skinny enough to rotate into the slot of the universal joint on the truck/worm. So insert the dogbone into the truck/worm universal, then turn the worm so that one of the slots in the universal is straight up. Next, take the dogbone and rotate it 90 degrees up into the slot. It should stand there, held by the slot.
Then insert the other dogbone into the other truck. Holding this 2nd dogbone with tweezers, take the motor/flywheel and make the coupling. Next, as you lower the motor into the chassis, use the tweezers again to grab the first dogbone and rotate it into the other flywheel. It will fit.
To remove the trucks, it's the typical worm gear clip. Slip a small flat screwdriver up through the bottom of the truck alongside the gear tower. Insert the tip under the worm gear clip and give a slight twist. It should unlock the tabs on that side. You may have to do this again to the other side. Once the worm gear clip pops off, the truck will drop off the chassis.
A small dab of grease will sometimes come in handy, helping hold things in place just long enough to slide together. Place it on the inside lip of the cup or on the end of the ball and posts of the shaft. Use no more than needed, a little dab will do you as the Brylcreme ad used to say, no need to lube these plastics generally and you don't want to make a mess.

Yeah, and I absolutely hated that stuff, it just didn't work for me and my as-long-as-I-can-keep-it haircut since dad wasn't real hot on the idea of simply letting it grow...and now Brylcreme still won't do me any good, mainly because of all the missing hair.
Never used any of that stuff but I been lucky, have most of my hair and am in better shape than I was in my 40's at 63 in most departments, never relized how out of shape you can get at a desk job, accually my working job turned into a desk job within 6 months of me starting it. Funny things about employers, they just don't understand that some people just don't want to advance up the corparate ladder, in my case I had other things going at the same time I was working full time.
