<p>The ballast ariived just when we had our lunch - talking about Mr.Murphy!</p> <p>Well, instead of taking a nap, I started ballasting! First of all, I bought way too much ballast. A third less would have done easily [|(]. Second, O sclae ballast does spread a lot easier than HO ballast, let alone N scale ballast. It is still a tedious task. In about 3 hours, I have covered maybe 4 ft, including some switches. Now I will let it dry thoroughly before evaluating the job I did .</p> <p><img src="http://i682.photobucket.com/albums/vv185/SirMadig/P1070623_zps8b8f1dd5.jpg" alt=" " /></p> <p>I used the good old white glue, diluted with water (1part glue, 1 part water, plus a drop of detergent) to glue the ballast, Prior to applying the glue, I gave the track a generous spray with "wet" water. Let´s see how that turns out.</p> <p> </p>
