Morning Folks! I woke up at 3am this morning, as a terrible thunderstorm was right above us, followed by torrential ra*n. It is calm now, and it has cooled off considerably. At 6am, I was so tired that I took a nap on the sofa - I just woke up 1/2 hour ago. This is not going to be my day! Chloe, although it is not Sunday yet, I need a hearty breakfast, so I hope you don´t mind serving my regular Sunday fare to me on a Friday - thank you! Nobody told me, that the generator exhaust was fitted upside down - well, I corrected this in a moment. I like the railing on the tender the woodburning version sports, but it would not fit with the plastic coal load. A little sanding and clipping off some protruding thingies took care of that. Now it fits perfectly, but the plastic coal looks rather awkward. Bachmann provides a little bag of real coal to cover it, but I have a feeling that the coal lumps are too small for O scale. It´s more of a coal dust than lumps. I think I will give the coal load a coat of dull black to take awaqy the plastic shine before I attempt to glue the coal down. I also have no idea what type of glue to use - white glue gives it a shine I don´t want. Any idea? Have a great day!
