Bernd Rainer (Barry) Arnold, aka blownoutcylinder in this forum, passed away on April 28th, 2016.
Barry had been a user moderator to this forum for many years and I enjoyed working together with him when we shared this task as a community service.
He also had been a long time regular of Elliot´s Trackside Diner and a good friend to many of us.
My sincere condolences to the loved ones he leaves behind.
Rest in peace, Barry.
RIP, Barry. Thanks for serving our community.

His absence will be sorely missed...

Just came in to check out the diner thread.
sad to hear about Barry
We certainly lost a very good friend. I recall Barry's humor, and many of our posts in the Trackside Diner were razzing each other just for fun. I'll miss that.
Ray (howmus) is the one who researched the internet to find Barry's obituary.

Upon reading information in the link to the obituary, I see the family requests memorial donations be directed to the Centre of Hope. The funeral home can handle that for those who wish to contribute.

Heartfelt condolences to Audrey and all Barry's family. Many have commented on his humour - ironic that "Blownoutcylinder" is on the RIP track. Our prayers and thoughts are with the family. May he rest in peace.

Our condolences to Audrey, Family and Friends, I am sure he will remain in your hearts and memories for ever. He will also be sorrowly missed by his Forum Buddies here as well.
So sad, such a young fellow (61), had too many things going for him.
That takes the gleam off of a brilliant spring day here.
Thanks for the candles, Br. Elias.
Rest in Peace Barry, you will not be forgotten.
