Yoohoo! Anybody in here? The place looks deserted!

Cuz´ Vinnie decided to launch a special marketing campaign - all the meals will be at 1960´s prices for this month! This should attract a few more customers.

The first part of the dock has become a liitle lighter, not as balckish as it was yesterday - big relief! I finished the second part today. I must have built it three times, as odd bits and pieces came off during construction. The second dock will be done in a different way - I will drill pilot holes into the frame and the pilings, insert a piece of wire and then glue everything together. This should prevent the pilings from falling off all the time. It´ll be a tedious job, but much better than doing a second or even third time around! The jig I made to ease assembly finally was not of much use!

The loco I orfdered has not yet arrived! I called them to inquire about my delivery and they found the shipment, already packed and ready to go. It was sitting under their nose for a week! I got the proise that it will be shipped today, so it should reach my doorstep by Friday.

Thoughts and best wishes to all suffering from illnesses!
