Good Morning!

I have a queasy feeling in my stomach about Jeff. I do hope he went to see a doc and got admitted to a hospital, where he is being properly taken care of. I also wish he had someone supporting him in his every day life. As long as I "know" him through this forum, he has been constantly battling a number of health issues. He is a strong man, but in a weak body. I wish there was a way to make his life just a little easier. If anyone deserves a better life, it´s him!

There is a candle lit for him! [angel]

I got my Xuron Rail Cutter in today´s mail and a made a test cut - works nicely! There is only little filing to be done to get a clean rail end. Seems to be a good investment, providing it´ll stay that way.

No update on the layout. My friend will be gone for a week starting Saturday, so no chance to get started on the benchwork. I still hope to have it up by Easter, so I can lay the track, do the wiring and have it running by the end of April. I am all itchy to see that Forney running a little more than just the yard and a half of my test track.

I hope that this place turns into the lively place it has been for such a long time. To those just viewing it, come on in and join us. It´s not a closed shop, it is open to anyone. Think of it of a place you go to to meet friends and chat about the day - on topic and also off-topic, within the policy of this forum. This is the place to go to get little and big advice and there is something you can´t find elswhere in the forum - friendship.

So please come in, enjoy a mug of hot coffee and the goodies being served here! Bring along the mug of your favorite railroad!

Open all hours!

Fully Licensed!

Kind and friendly staff!

Best burgers and hot dogs in town!

Flo, Chloe and Zoe are happy to serve you!

Have a great day!
