Loss of RR picture archives?
Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, February 28, 2016 9:10 PM

RR Picture Archives (www.rrpicturearchives.net) has dropped off the face of the planet (it seemed to happen around midnight 2 or so days ago).   Currently using the internet wayback machine to access it.  Anyone know what is going on?

Edit:  Cant view photos because of the "websites robot.txt".

It seems to be a common thing with them anymore. The last outage in December, lasted for days!! I don`t think they ever planned on having 4.5+ million photos on their site.

Yep, a totally different site.  Nice, but not anything like rrpictures.  Hope they come back.

Mike.

I was actually on it yesterday when it conked out around 6 PM PST.

As noted it has done this before, but it is such a useful site and hopefully will return soon.

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.
