Me again, I feel a little sleepy after that lunch we had. Petra´s interpretation of a German hotdog - bratwurst in a roll! Spiced it up with hot mustard and salsa sauce - yummy! Jeff - you are right, it must have been the extra metal wheelsets I included without declaring them. After all, the customs people probably have never seen such a URO - that´s an unidentified Railroad object - in their lives before [swg] Kind of reminds me of an incident I experienced about 35 years ago, during my student days. While on a field trip to Switzerland, my buddies and I went to a hobby shop in Switzerland and bought a few hard to get items, just a couple of HOn3 switches and a few lengths of flex track, plus a Lima loco. All of these items were not available in Germany in those days. As we left Switzerland by train, the customs inspector asked as whether we had anything to declare. As the total amount exceeded the limit of free import, we rightfully answered, telling him what we had bought. OK, we did not mention it was HOn3 stuff, but seeing his face was worth a lot! He thought we took the mickey out of him and let us pass without paying the charges [(-D] My order of track has been sent out - I am beyond the point of return with that layout now. Feels good!
