Hi,
Too often we are more than ready to complain about a product or company, but seldom do we pass along "good stuff". I'm happy to say I can do that regarding American Model Builders.
I was recently gifted with three of their kits from a fellow modeler. Unfortunately, the instructions for the Santa Fe one story depot were missing. As the box had been opened, they were obviously misplaced by the previous owner.
I emailed AMB yesterday morning to see if they could help with a replacement. This morning at 8, I got a reply from them, with the instruction file attached.
Now this is what we would like to expect from our vendors, but it is just not the norm. So thank you, American Model Builders, for excellent customer service.
Oh, and thank you for putting out such wonderful kits (I have several) too!
ENJOY,

That's great news. Mobilman. I really like AMB: Good quality kits and the parts go together well. I've put together 3 or 4 of them and have always been happy with the results.

Time...It marches on...without ever turning around to see if anyone is even keeping in step.
I've built more than a few of their kits, both HO and O scale, and been very happy with all of them. 'Glad to hear their customer service is of the same quality as the kits they make.

I haven't built any of their structures but I can attest to the accuracy of their Laser Kit products. I used their window kits when I detailed my fleet of Athearn cabooses and the fit was so close that glue was not required.
By the way, I took the time to tell them how good their stuff was.

I'm just a dude with a bad back having a lot of fun with model trains, and finally building a layout!
I'll be darned. I didn't think that I had ever heard of these guys. But, I went onto their web site and, lo and behold, I have previously purchased some of their freight loads.
Better yet, all of their products are Made in the USA.

Always promising to read about great customer service. Sadly, too often we flame different shipping places for lost items, broken promises re shipping or availability, etc.
I have built their smalll loft farm structure. The product was very realistic, and I got it for far less than expected. I prefer plastic models, but for an old school barn, the structure works.
Great to hear in this day and age. Thanks for passing on your experience.
