Good Afternoon! It´s been a busy day today. Year end shopping run, cleaning the house, and - the best of it - w*rking on that cardboard mock-up loco, which is nearing completion. I learned quite a lot during the construction: <ul> <li>Overall proportions seem to be right</li> <li>Which elemnts and parts to group into subassemblies for better construction and painting</li> <li>How to motorize the darn thing</li> <li>Which details have to be included and whoche ones can be left out</li> </ul> A few more details will be added tomorrow - like windshield wipers. Going to be tough to make them out of cardboard [:-^] I am surprized how strong that cardboard structures is after receiving a coat of primer and another coat of paint.
