Six Weeks of Construction in 3 Minutes: The Thompson River Canyon layout
Posted by JDL56 on Saturday, October 10, 2015 4:18 PM

It took me six weeks to build, but you can watch the construction of the N scale Thompson River Canyon layout in just over three minutes, with some video of the layout in operation at the end.

Link to the video here on my blog: http://cprailmmsub.blogspot.ca/2015/10/six-weeks-of-construction-in-three.html

Nice little video.

You don't show the "backside" of the layout, but it appears it is a single track.  A club I see at shows around here has an N scale layout representing a local stretch of rugged track.  On the backside they have several staging tracks so that trains can run in either direction and one does not follow itself around,  As a viewer, you are always wondering where the next train is coming from and what it will be.

Thanks for sharing,

Richard

The back is a single track. The layout is just a simple loop. I will be finishing the back side over fall and winter. It will represent the eastern end of the canyon.

A fitting and nicely done memorial to a friend, thanks for sharing.
