The Hamburg-based Miniatur Wunderland is currently working full steam on its latest addition - Italy, which will be as spectacular as the airport or the Scandinavian section.
Close to 2,000 sq.ft of space will show a lot of high lights of the country - Rome with the coliseum and the bridges across the Tiber river, not to forget Stazione Roma Termini, the Rome main station, Venice, the Amalfi coast, the Vesuv volcano and lots of others. My next visit is already scheduled.
Here is a short video showing Gerrit Braune presenting the latest update on the progress. Narration is in German, but there are English subtitles available.
Enjoy!
More amazing-ness! I saw it in 2010. Now, I'll have to plan another trip back!
