wes454, <br />From what I heard, BLI contacted the manufacturer of the Northern at the last minute and asked if the engines color could be lightened up "a little". They thought this would bring out the detail better. This information is not very reliable although it is plausible. My Northern runs like a dream.I posted some pics on the Atlas board before it went down for the summer. In the pic it looks REAL grey. It's not that grey in person.For me, owning a Santa Fe 3700 class Northern with sound and awesome detail at the price I got it for, the color isn't that big of a deal.
