Years ago we had a 1-1/2" scale outdoor railroad. Our herald was based on the Bessemer & Lake Erie railhead emblem.
This is from a cloth patch that my father had made up from artwork that I had traced from a book.
Presently my HO layout does not have a dedicated herald...
