Hi Guys,
I have searched high and low and can't find a source for #3 x 5/8" (or longer) to mount some Euro Screw Terminal Blocks. I also looked for a metric equivalent (I think 2.2mm x14mm) with no luck. I have tried Micro-Mark, MicroHardware and others. Any help is appreciated. Thanx!
Try Micro-Fasteners.

I've been using parts from these people for Yrs. Highly precision hardware:
They have #3 wood screws.

You won't have much luck finding #3 screws. I suppose a few were made, but I cannot remember ever seeing them in a hardware store for a long time. I'd try for #2 or #4 by 5/8 screws. If necessary, drill out the mounting holes in the terminal blocks to take a #4 screw.

I have been using Albany County Fasteners with success for some time now.
You may want to email them if you have a specific fastener you are looking for. I recently bought a bunch of stainless fasteners from them but later regretted not being able to hold them in a magnetic driver!
I don't see any round head #3s but they do have quite a selection of flat head brass down to #0
For example here is a #2 x 3/4.

And here's #3 x 3/4

Prices are reasonable, including shipping!
Good Luck, Ed
Try Mcmaster and Carr. http://www.mcmaster.com/# is their website. My dad use to make knives and for some of them he would need really small screws and such and would order from them. I am not sure if they have a minimum or not but you can check it out and see if they have what you need.
love any kind of train
If you have a Fastenall store in town, they should have them or be able to get them.

Thank you all for the info. Turns out I need a #2 screw (not #3) and that is a lot easier to find. I found them at:
http://www.clarcorpindustrialsales.com/
But most of the places you guys suggested have screws for less $ or less shipping (I paid almost 18 bucks shipping on a $10 parts order). I realize shipping has gone up, but I guess these guys aren't really looking for small orders :-)

Is that a #2 screw, as in a 2-56? I'm surprised you couldn't find that at your local hardware store.
