My experience is similar to wes454 - including a two 1/2 year old daughter who loves the trains. My wife is supportive, but really not interested. Of course, I feel the same way about her quilting. I think you'll find that it is good to maintain separate hobbies/activities. I know when you are first dating/married, you want to spend all your time together, but trust me this will pass...
