Walthers Concrete Street System, Dimentions?
Posted by ss122 on Friday, June 5, 2015 3:05 PM

Can anyone tell me the scale width of the pavement, and of the sidewalk pieces of this product. I need a street on my HO layout, but my space is somewhat limited. The Walthers website tells the lenght of product supplied, but not whether it's suitable for an alley, a boulevard, or something in between. TIA, and a great weekend to all.

Ss122,

The Walther's Brick street system is what I use and make all kinds of width's by cutting them down and rearranging for the width/length I want. Right out of the box....they make a street in HO scale that is scale 40ft wide....with sidewalks and curbs..it is a total 52ft wide. Concrete, Asphalt and Brick are all the same widths, to my knowledge.

A old pic of what they would look like with no mod's.

Hope that helps.

Take Care! Big Smile

Thanks Frank. Makes sense, if it's too wide then it's time to take out the oud straight edge and blade and do some narrowing. Ken
