QUOTE:
QUOTE: I use my model in fron of a AT&SF excursion train with a BNSF GE Dash9 as helper! Looks good and funny!
... As opposed to "Stupid"? (Don't try to run both at the same time on DC..)
A Heritage II GE Dash 9 runs behind the 3751 when made that run from LA to the Railfair in Sacramento in 1999 (?). You will see this on DVD "ABOVE 3751 ON CAJON PASS".

I run both at the same time on DC !
You can programming the QSI decoder also in DC! So I reduced the starting power and the momentum of 3751 to a voltage, similar to the Dash 9. Both run near identical!

I know that all the three stacks were used on 3751 at different times.
I use the, today not correct, adjustable stack because I like this and the hole in the boiler, visible when the two other stacks a installed is closed.
