Unfortunately, Joe Lofland, owner of JJL Models unexpectedly passed away in March, 2014. I don't know what is happening with the company or the inventory. If anyone knows, please respond. I have many of his model kits - all excellent if you can obtain them.

I had never heard of JJL Models. I did an eBay search and found no current offerings. However there was a completed listing of a D&LW assembled caboose. Nice looking model. It sold for $110.00 In checking the JJL website, the site is still up, but there is no mention of Joes passing.
I am pleased to announce that JJL Models' molds and remaining stock were purchased. It is expected that by the end of 2015 most if not all the models will be put back into production.
Feel free to inquire about any of the remaining stock. Models will be brought back into production according to demand. Customer input is welcome. If there is a clear demand for a specific model over another we will work on getting that back into production sooner. Also, we are looking for suggestions of new models.
We do not have an active website at this point. As PRR 2277 stated the website hosted at www.traceylfisher.com is NOT an active website. We have tried unsuccessfully many times to get it taken down. Until we have an active website, any new information about JJL Models will be announced on our facebook page. Please feel free to visit and like us. https://www.facebook.com/JJLModels
We look forward to bringing this line back to life.
You can contact us at jjlmodels@yahoo.com. We do not have any of the baywindow kits ready, but if you email us, we will let you know when they are ready.
I would like to announce that we have gotten the website up and running. I am still working on it but you should be able to order from us now and use a credit card through paypal. The new site is: http://www.costellomfg.com/jjl We are still working on getting the models back into production so quantities are limited. Since it is warming up in western NY, we should be able to start spending more time in the shop and hopefully get the old kits as well as some new kits available.
