Hi my name is kevin and i live in cannon beach oregon. I model ho scale and am wondering if there are any folks interested in starting a club here. Ive looked around online but havent found a local club. If you have any interest or just wanna talk trains, give me a response. Also, if there is an existing club in clatsop county, any info would be appreciated.

Have you tried our hosts listing of model rr groups? If not, go to the light gray line at the top right of this page. Click on RESOURCES, then Model Railroad Groups. There are a number listed in Oregon, don't know how close you are to any of them. At the site you can search by state or by distance from your zip code.
You can also check your local hobby shops, they are also listed there and in the yellow pages. Ask if there are any clubs or groups that may not be in the MR listing. Near me is a private home that has operating sessions on a large layout, but there is no formal group or club. I think they do some round robin operating too. The LHS might know of something along those lines.

Hi Kevin, I live in Seaside and just starting to build my layout. years ago I worked for a number of railroads back east. I am going to model the Nickel Plate road in 60s and 70s. at present I started building my tables and have been collecting stuff for the last five years. let me know if you would like to meet.
