I like to mix real history with my fictional history of area/railroad I model . So anybody know any history or a good link ,about ore cars of Milwaukee Road ? I have 6 athearn models 76149 ,76250 ,76253 ,76307 ,76441 and 76594 . I look on the web can't find anything on if Milwaukee Road even ran those car numbers . Thanks for any info .

Those cars are correct for 'Michigan' ore cars and the numbers are correct for ones owned by the Milwaukee Road. The MILW & C&NW had a 'joint' ore operation in the upper peninsula of Michigan. What is left of that operation is now CN and ships out of the port of Escanaba.
