I know there is a lot out there on this subject but i was wondering if someone could steer me in the right direction,n scale kato track, 2x4 small layout how many feeder should there be, i have read 1 is good enough,1 every 2 sections,1every 3ft. what would the right one , i even read 1 feeder every section, if that was the case i think everyone would back to flex track, help!!

On a layout of that size, one or two would be all you really need. If you have  sidings I would give those there own feeders as well.

thank you for advice, unitrack is a great product and i do see it growing. i even see larger scale's going to sectional track with roadbed similar to unitrack, and power feeds are the new topic in this type of track. thanks again.

I had a 4x8 Unitrack layout with only two feeders and it had no problems at all. I am sure a 2x4 would work with one, centrally-located feeder. One comment on adding feeders to your sidings. If you want to use the power routing capabilities of the Unitrack turnouts to control the power on the sidings, do not add feeders to the sidings.
