Hi Roger...I hate to disagree [well, sort of,]but Model Railroad Planning is a once-a-year publication.Model Railroader NEVER had tinplate content of any kind, like Classic Toy Trains has. RMC used to have quite a lot of tinplate content. <br />Garden Railroading...virtually never in MR, just a bit of indoor G gauge. <br />Way back 40-45 years ago, Kalmbach had Model Trains..a good magazine aimed mainly at beginners. That's what a lot of MR is now. <br />But back 40-45 years ago, in Paul Larson's time, and then in the first 15 years of Linn Westcott's editorship, MR was pretty technical, perhaps too technical for many.The hobby kept evolving. <br />regards / Mike........[ just another old MR subscriber, dying off.]
